Kanye West Will Soon Reveal "The Life Of Pablo" Tour Dates
It looks like Kanye West is already planning a tour in support of "The Life of Pablo."
The unveiling of Kanye West's new album, The Life of Pablo -- which coincided with a Yeezy Season 3 fashion show -- at Madison Square Garden has been one of the most talked about hip-hop spectacles in recent memory.
I had -- rather stupidly, in retrospect -- thought that, for the album's official debut, Kanye would perform each and every song off The Life of Pablo. Instead, he just hooked his laptop up to an AUX cord and let the album play out. And while it must've been thrilling to be among the first to hear The Life of Pablo in such a grand setting, Kanye is indeed in the process of gearing up a proper live show to go along with his seventh album.
A source close to Kanye has alerted Entertainment Weekly that a "Life of Pablo" tour is currently being planned and that dates could be revealed as soon as next month.
Kanye has one official performance already scheduled this summer, as he'll headline the Governors Ball Music Festival on June 5 in NYC, so perhaps his new tour will be situated around that time. He also recently announced his plans to drop another album this summer, so it looks like his schedule will be totally swamped, though that's nothing new for Pablo.
These tix will likely be gone in minutes. Who's excited to see a live performance of Kanye's new album?
Professional Boxers May Finally Be Able To Fight In Olympics
Can professional boxers put together a "Dream Team?"
Boxing has been a staple of the Olympic Games for over a century, but over the past few decades the sport has been relegated to day-time status because of its low profile. While the overall decline of boxing as a spectator sport has been undeniable for some time, the Olympics have further hamstrung themselves by forcing Olympic hopefuls to retain “amateur” status. However, this year the Olympics may seem some more noteworthy competitors.
The amateur requirement basically means that anyone who reaches a level where they’re talented enough to be paid to fight is barred from competing in the Olympics. This has allowed younger competitors to wet their feet in the fighting circuit on a big stage before going on to fight the best in the world. However, this has led to an inferior product for the Olympics, and Press Association, International Box Association (AIBA) president Ching-Kuo Wu has vowed to change that.
“It is an IOC policy to have the best athletes in the Game, and of the international federations, AIBA is probably the only one without professional athletes in the Olympics,” explained Wu. Having the most talented boxers in the world is obviously a plus, but could lead to some unbalanced fights in the early rounds. However, the US Basketball team had the same policy until the Dream Team in 1992, and we all know what happened there.
While an inexperienced fighter getting his bell rung by a world-class boxer like Floyd Mayweather may be scary to some, we’re sure the savages on this site would enjoy the hell out of it. Besides, anything that could drag Mayweather out of retirement for another go at Manny Pacquiao is a plus in our book. We’ll have to see what the AIBA and IOC decide to do first..
Young Thug Responds To Plies Calling Him A "Lower Tier" Artist
The beef between Plies and Young Thug is back on.
A couple of days ago, the beef between Young Thug and The Game was reignited. Today, Thug is back to sparring with another rapper he had issues with last year: Plies.
Strangely enough, both of Thug's current beefs involve his young daughter. Thug and Game got back into it by posting pictures of each other's daughters on their Instagram pages, and back in September, his beef with Plies started when the Florida rapper (unknowingly) posted a video clip of Thug's daughter using profanity to his Instagram.
Yesterday, Plies was the one to incite Young Thug, when he appeared on Complex's web show "Well Rounded" and called Thugger a "lower tier artist."
"I don't play with a certain tier of artists, like you trying to get poppin' and shit," said Plies when asked about the comments Thug made about him last month on Sway (that he might "slap the shit" out of him next time he sees him). "I don't fuck with lower tier artists," concluded the "Ritz Carlton" rapper.
When asked why Plies considers Thug to be "lower tier," he referenced Thug's first-week sales, presumably those of his latest project, I'm Up: "Um, you sold, what? Shit, 10-14,000 records the first week. I don't know, you tell me what tier it is."

Chance The Rapper Gets Quizzed On Saran Wrap On NPR
Listen to Chance the Rapper's entertaining appearance on popular NPR quiz show "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!"
Last August, days before the release of Free Based Freestyles, Chance the Rapper joined popular NPR quiz show "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" for an outdoor taping at Chicago's Millennium Park.
Chance was in rare form as he charmed the hosts and audience with his understated wit. When asked how he composes his raps, Chance replied, "That's a great question. I think there's a lot of premeditation, if you will, to making a rap, you know? You got to sit down, focus on your breathing, you know, you want to do a good workout, push-ups, maybe sit-ups, play cards, think about your taxes, think about all the people that you've met, you know, in this life and possibly a past life, if you believe in that. And then, you know, you take off your socks and shoes, put a pencil between your toes and you start writing. And you've got a masterpiece."
The First Photo Of Saint West Arrives Online
See the first-ever photo of the world's most famous baby.
Just now, Kanye West's long-anticipated "All Day" music video made its way online. Today is also occasion for an even bigger online premiere from the West family, as Kim has shared the first photo of her and Kanye's second child, and first son: the three-month-old Saint West.
Kim shared the photo of Saint, who is pictured asleep in a cozy Yeezy Season 3 baby shirt, through her app and website. She decided to post the picture in honor of her late father Robert Kardashian, who would've celebrated his 72nd birthday today. "I know there's nothing more in the world he would have wanted than to meet his grandchildren," Kim wrote to her fans. "So I wanted to share this pic of Saint with you all."
Nyck Caution Is Dropping A Project This Week
The Pro Era emcee shared the title and cover art.
We knew Nyck Caution was going to have an enormous 2016 on January 15, when he dropped three fire tracks to celebrate his 22nd birthday. The 22 EP, as it is called, served as a prelude to Caution's first project since 2011's The Pursuit, Vol. 1. Sunday afternoon, he shared the project's title and cover art on Instagram.
The project is called Disguise the Limit, and according to both Nyck Caution and his Pro Era bro Kirk Knight, it will drop sometime "FEBRUARY" -- aka, in the next week!
Caution has already dropped one single (presumably) from the project, "Wordsmith." Check out the Disguise the Limit cover art below as well as HNHH's exclusive new interview with Caution and Joey Bada$$.

Tyga Reportedly Being Evicted By Another Landlord
According to reports, Tyga may be evicted from another house in L.A.
It looks like Tyga isn’t a big fan of paying for a roof over his head. Last year, it was reported that the former YMCMB rapper was kicked out of his Calabasas home for unpaid rent, which he says is completely false, but now more reports are saying the same thing about his other home in the Hollywood Hills.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, Tyga’s current landlord has filed papers listing Michael Ray Stevenson, Tyga’s government name, as the defendant who he’s trying to evict. Apparently Tyga hasn’t paid rent for the three months while living at the $4.8 million Hollywood Hills home, which is $17,000 per month equaling a grand total of $51,000 he owes his landlord.
Tyga has yet to make any sort of comment about this latest eviction story, but we can bet it’s coming.
Kanye West Breaks Up A Paparazzi Fight With A Hug
Kanye West breaks up a fight between two photographers with a hug.
Kanye West was back at it with the paparazzi on Friday, but it’s not for what you might think. Known in the past for his short temper, and fist throwing anger with the camera crews, Kanye did the quite opposite yesterday when he broke up a fight between two photographers while arriving back at LAX.
Caught by TMZ, Kanye was being bombarded by the paparazzi, when two photographers ended turning on each other and starting throwing some blows. But rather than walking faster in the opposite direction, Kanye stepped in and broke the two guys up by giving one of them a hug in effort to calm everyone down.
In a good mood, Kanye later answered some questions from the paps as well. When asked if he’ll have a third child, Ye replied “perhaps” with a smile on his face. Then he was asked about Mark Zuckerberg, before commotion set in and it's a little tough to hear.
Kanye West Considering Legal Action Against The Pirate Bay
Upset with the level of illegal downloads, Kanye West's camp considers legal action.
Kanye West’s buzzing new album The Life of Pablo is only available on the streaming service Tidal, which has driven many people to illegally download the album rather than sign up for the subscription-only streaming service. As a result, the album has gone Gold in illegal downloads solely from popular torrent site the Pirate Bay. It netted more than 500,000 downloads in less than a week, which is potentially an internet record.
Despite previously being flippant towards people to illegally listen to his music, Kanye West is reportedly not pleased with the current situation. He’s considering a lawsuit against the Pirate Bay, and that’s understandable given how much money in streams and album sales 500,000 downloads would equate to.
TorrentFreak reached out to the Pirate Bay for comment. Their response was not exactly fearful. “Kanye West is a blithering twat who has an incredible sense of self importance,” Pirate Bay staff member Spud17 wrote, before adding, “Our legal team will be waiting.”
The Pirate Bay are no strangers to legal action, as their site been kicked out of numerous countries for it’s illegal activity. Next to governments, a Yeezy lawsuit isn’t much to sniff at. While it sucks that Kanye has lost out on so much money, he’s partially to blame for the situation after altering his album distribution plans right as the album released. He refused to add the album to any Apple music services, leaving few ways for people to obtain the record.

The Game & Lloyd Banks Reunite In Dubai
It looks like The Game & Lloyd Banks are on talking terms.
It’s been years since The Game has been amicable with his former crew, but it appears it’s not everyone from G-Unit crew that he's had a problem with.
While out in Dubai this week, the Los Angeles Confidential ran by his former G-Unit homie Lloyd Banks and ended up taking a picture with him, which he just posted on Instagram. The caption simpy read “Still,” which should make any rap fan from the 00’s very happy to see.
Diddy & LL Cool J Uncover Their Ancestry On "Finding Your Roots"
Puff Daddy & LL appear on "Finding Your Roots," a PBS documentary by Henry Louis Gates, Jr.
Diddy and LL Cool J appear on the new episode of "Finding Your Roots," a PBS documentary by the scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr., to learn more about their ancestry.
Diddy's fourth great-grandparents, who lived in Maryland, were free, unlike the majority of blacks in the early 19th century. “It makes me feel kind of conflicted that my family was free and there was so many other families that weren’t…I can’t imagine what it must have felt like for him being locked up and to be innocent,” he said.
LL Cool J met with relatives to watch video of his great-uncle boxing.
On a past episode of "Finding Your Roots," Nas learned that his great-great-great-grandmother Pocahontas was sold for $830. If you're into this sort of history, definitely check out "Finding Your Roots, which airs on PBS on Tuesdays at 8/7c.
Kanye West Reacts To Kylie Jenner Signing With PUMA
Kanye West reacts to Kylie Jenner's unexpected partnership with PUMA.
Kanye West has made no effort to cover up his hatred toward Nike, the company he left in favor of adidas, but many were surprised when we called out another major clothing brand, PUMA, for trying to "divide the family" with its efforts to court a deal with Kylie Jenner. He went as far as to say, "1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That's on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!"
Well, it now seems as though Yeezy was misguided in his calculations, as PUMA has officially confirmed its partnership with the youngest Jenner sister. "I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner," said Adam Petrick, PUMA's Global Director of Brand and Marketing, in an official statement, reports Complex.
"Kylie will be featured in the brand's Spring/Summer women's training campaign launching in April 2016," continued Petrick. "Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion, and we couldn't think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA."
Earlier today, a TMZ reporter caught up with Kanye at LAX, and by then, he was already aware of his ill-fated PUMA tweets. When asked if Kylie had gone behind his back to sneak a deal with PUMA, a rival of adidas, Kanye replied, "She had already signed, and I was mad for a bit."
Thus, it seems the deal was already in place when Kanye had sent out the tweets claiming Kylie for team Yeezy, and it's probably wasn't a pretty sight when Kanye found out about the deal. He's now over it, however, as he went on to tell the reporter, "I'm really happy for her though."

Meet Jacquees: Cash Money's Next Up
Read our exclusive interview with Jacquees, Birdman's newest protege.
When Jacquees signed to Cash Money Records in October 2014, many onlookers worried that Cash Money CEO Birdman would exploit Jacquees' vocal talents and strip him of everything that made him a budding star -- his carefree demeanor, bright smile, and model good looks.
A year and half later, Jacquees is still in his honeymoon phase with Cash Money. He showed off the Rich Gang handshake in his music video for "Like Baby," his ode to Birdman, and he's been logging long hours in the studio with Birdman plotting the he's been tentatively slated for a late 2016 release.
A few weeks before the release of his mixtape Mood, Jacquees swung by HNHH HQ, his last stop in NYC before heading to the airport to catch a flight to Arkansas. The 21-year-old radiated an uncommon youthful charisma as he detailed his childhood years, his relationship with Birdman, and much more.
Taylor Swift Fires Back At Kanye West During Her Acceptance Speech At The Grammy's
Taylor Swift took a little jab at Kanye West during her acceptance speech for "Album Of The Year."
Well it looks like Taylor Swift definitely heard the lyrics on Kanye West’s new song “Famous,” where Ye spits “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous,” and she’s not happy about it either. During her acceptance speech at Monday night's Grammy's for “Album Of The Year” with 1989, Taylor decided to “speak to the women” but direct her words towards Kanye.
Taylor says in her speech, “As the first woman to win album of the year twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or you fame, But if you just focus on the work, and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
This clearly reignites the on-going beef between Kanye & Taylor, which we thought was over with after Kanye stated they talked on the phone for over an hour and said she even gave him her blessings to use the line. Well apparently she never did, and now the beef is back on.
Jay Rock Severely Injured In "Bad" Motocycle Accident
Jay Rock was reportedly involved in a bad motorcycle accident on Monday.
While Kendrick Lamar was busy tearing the stage down at the 58th annual Grammy’s Monday night, his fellow TDE counterpart, Jay Rock, was unfortunately involved in a “bad accident” on his motorcycle.
Taking to twitter Monday night, TDE president Top Dawg tweeted out, "Pray 4 @jayrock he had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. He's hurt pretty bad...”
While no other information has been released at the moment, we’ll definitely keep you posted as more on this surfaces. Prayers up for Jay Rock

Kanye West Reveals Final Tracklist For “The Life Of Pablo”

While he's been featured in the pages of GQ, this is also his first cover story, and while it's not as big a look as the American issue, it's still a pretty big flex.
The March cover was revealed today via GQ and ASAP Mob's Instagram account, and it's got the rapper looking as fashion-conscious as ever, going shirtless under a blazer, and rocking some baggy dress pants with sneakers.

Kanye West Apologizes To Michael Jordan; Says Beef Was Aimed At Mark Parker
Kanye West apologizes to his fellow Chi-town airness Michael Jordan.
Kanye West has taking a certain liking to twitter these past couple weeks, sounding off just about everything from his upcoming Yeezy 3 line & his highly anticipated “T.L.O.P.” album to beefing with Wiz Khalifa & trolling with us fake Rolling Stone covers, all eyes have been on Ye’s timeline, and boy was he back at it on Tuesday afternoon.
Not only did Ye boldly state that Bill Cosby was innocent, but the G.O.O.D Music CEO decided to also apologize to his fellow Chi-town air-ness Michael Jordan, for presumably referencing him in his latest freestyle “Facts.” (Yeezy Yeezy Yeezy just jumped over “Jumpman.”) Kanye says his “beef” was aimed at Mark Parker, and that he “loves and respect you [Jordan].”
Shortly after, he ironically tweeted a picture of Lebron’s All-Star sneakers, and gave Nike praise for a good well done. However, it looks like the tweet was only posted because of his close friendship with King James.
Lil Wayne Reportedly Hit With $900,000 Tax Lien
Lil Wayne has some more unpaid taxes to take care of.
Back in 2014, it was reported that Lil Wayne owed over $12 million in back-taxes, and sources are now claiming that the rapper owes another $900,000 to the IRS.
According to theJasmineBrand, Weezy is being tapped for exactly $868,079.89, the lien being delivered on February 1st in Florida. It's said that this particular amount is from his 2014 assessment, though it's not clear if the rapper has paid off the previous $12 million debt he previously held.
We know that he owns at least $30 million worth of art, so it shouldn't be too tough for the rapper to pay off that amount, and if he doesn't cough up the cash, the IRS could always seize some of his paintings.
Meanwhile, we're still waiting on news of Carter V, seeing as Wayne and Birdman have allegedly made up and all. Think it's finally coming this year?

Future, Wiz Khalifa & Young Thug's First Week Sales Projections Are In
Future's "EVOL" is on top this week.
Future proved that he could drop an album like a mixtape and still sell upwards of 100,000 copies first week with DS2, and he's now continued that trend with EVOL. The rapper's latest project, released shortly after his free Purple Reign mixtape is projected to sell 110-115,00 copies, (145-150k with streams). It will definitely put him in the running for the #1 spot next week.
Wiz Khalifa also released his Khalifa project on Friday, and is currently headed for 45-50,000 sales (55-60,000 with streams), while Young Thug's I'm Up is looking to net 14-16,000 sales, with 17-20,000 including streams.
You can find the numbers one more time below (via Hits Daily Double). Surprised by any of the predictions?
Kendrick Lamar & His Team Explain The Making Of "To Pimp A Butterfly"
Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat, Terrace Martin, Rapsody, Sounwave, & other architects of "TPAB" tell the story of how the album was made.
Kendrick Lamar is up for a whopping Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. The Compton rapper sat down with the Grammys along with Thundercat, Terrace Martin, Rapsody, Sounwave, and other architects of To Pimp a Butterfly to given an oral history of how the album came together.
Here are few highlights from the interview:
On the inspiration for the album:
Sounwave: I remember he took a trip to Africa and something in his mind just clicked. For me, that's when this album really started.
Lamar: I felt like I belonged in Africa. I saw all the things that I wasn't taught. Probably one of the hardest things to do is put [together] a concept on how beautiful a place can be, and tell a person this while they're still in the ghettos of Compton. I wanted to put that experience in the music.
"MixedByAli" (co-engineer/mixer): [Lamar is] a sponge. He incorporated everything that was going on [in Africa] and in his life to complete a million-piece puzzle.
On the making of "King Kunta":
Sounwave: When we first did "King Kunta," the beat was the jazziest thing ever with pretty flutes. Kendrick said he liked it but to "make it nasty." He referenced a DJ Quik record with Mausberg ["Get Nekkid"] and he told me what to do with it. I added different drums to it, simplified it, got Thundercat on the bass, and it was a wrap.
Thundercat" That strong-ass rhythm with banging drums and bass was created by me and Sounwave watching "Fist Of The North Star" while eating Yoshinoya. It's funny because a lot of this album was created eating Yoshinoya and watching cartoons. It was so funky and so black.
On finding George Clinton:
Lamar: "I had to find George Clinton in the woods, man. He was somewhere in the South and I had to fly out to him. We got in the studio and just clicked. Rocking with him took my craft to another level and that pushed me to make more records like that for the album."
On the album title:
Lamar: "The title grasped the entire concept of the record. [I wanted to] break down the idea of being pimped in the industry, in the community and out of all the knowledge that you thought you had known, then discovering new life and wanting to share it."
On the concept behind "Complexion":
Martin: "We were listening to a lot of J Dilla, Jimi Hendrix and Lalah Hathaway, who's on that song too. Robert Glasper played piano over it. Me and Sounwave heard the piano but wanted another beat so we called Lalah Hathaway and got into the spirit of J Dilla. Then Rapsody got to it and murdered it."
Lamar: "The idea was to make a record that reflected all complexions of black women. There's a separation between the light and the dark skin because it's just in our nature to do so, but we're all black. This concept came from South Africa and I saw all these different colors speaking a beautiful language."
On the 'conscious rapper' label:
Lamar: "If you speak on this kind of subject matter you're labeled a conscious rapper. I don't even know [if] that word conscious can only exist in one field of music. Everybody is conscious. That's a gift from God to put it in my heart to continue to talk about this because that's how I'm feeling at the moment. The message is bigger than the artist."
The Grammys air February 15th at 8 ET.

Kanye Tweets Photo Of New White Yeezy Boost 350
Kanye West also said he plans to call Leonardo DiCaprio and Floyd Mayweather.
Kanye West is a busy man, and it appears his attention is currently focused on his Yeezy Season 3 clothing collection. Hopefully that means his album is finished, but without a name anything seems possible. Yeezy has been tweeting pictures of his work fitting the new Yeezy Season 3 clothes, and part of that included a picture of a brand new Yeezy Boost 350.
This one is particularly notable because it has never been seen before. Not to be confused with the “Beluga” all white Yeezy Boost 350 that ended up being a custom pair, this one is all new. The general shape and cut of the shoe is the same, but aside from the new color, it also uses a new Primeknit pattern on the upper. This one is much more smooth, with a less textured look than any Yeezy Boost 350 to date.
Some other images include a parka, a destroyed sweater/dress, a red, brown and orange patterned sweater and a high heel (?). In his tweeting spree, he also threw in that he intends to call Floyd Mayweather and Leonardo DiCaprio later today after speaking with Mike Tyson yesterday. It’s unclear what or if any of that has to with his album or clothing release. Maybe Yeezy is planning the most lit tea party of all time?
Ab-Soul: "This Bench Is Getting Warm As Fuck"
Ab-Soul and TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith work some things out over Twitter.
Top Dawg Entertainment’s stable of emcees is one of the best in the game. However, it can be tough to keep everyone happy with so many mouths to feed, so to speak. Ab-Soul is the only artist of the bunch who hasn’t released a critically-acclaimed and widely promoted album. His last project, These Days… came out after ScHoolboy Q’s widely popular Oxymoron but it didn’t receive nearly same amount of promotion. The same goes for Jay Rock’s 90059 and any of Kendrick Lamar’s albums.
Today, Ab-Soul’s frustrations with his relative anonymity spilled onto Twitter as he let loose a series of tweets. He thanks everyone who has “been supporting me LONGTERM,” and says “I’ll be ready when my #’s called.” If those first two tweets weren’t enough smoke, his next tweet saying “this bench is gettin’ warm as fucc tho mayne,” casts away any doubt about what the Black Lipped Bastard was tweeting about.
However, TDE has never been one to subtweet or be passive aggressive, so of course TDE President Anthony Tiffith called him out. He said “when I put u in the game u better be on fire nigga…” and cited Ab-Soul’s tweet. Ab-Soul responded in kind, saying he would be like the former 6th man of the year and prolific NBA Clippers scorer Jamal Crawford. But does the TDE CEO’s last tweet suggest that we may finally get a magnum opus from Ab-Soul?
